A 40 year old startup

Inspired by a search for a new car in the 1970's, Chris Kidger created the original print edition of the Friday-Ad which launched in Uckfield in 1974. His simple concept was to make it easier for buyers and sellers to connect, and this continues to be the principal mission of the group today. 

The company has continually adapted and developed, from print to online, through organic growth and acquisition. Today Friday Media Group consists of over 80 websites and operates in the UK, Europe, the middle East and America.
