We are looking for an ambitious, consultative and tenacious sales professional to join the team at Friday Media Group. This role will be based in our brand new HQ on Brighton seafront.

The marketplaces division is made up of several market leading websites in niche industries connecting buyers and sellers. We offer a wide range of solutions to businesses from targeted data led campaigns to grow sales through to award winning web service tools making our customers’ lives easier.

We are constantly evolving in an ever changing, fast paced landscape of media solutions which makes it an exciting place to work and develop our sales teams skills.

You will be identifying and securing clients to add into our portfolio as well as managing existing relationships. This is done by the below:

  • Contact perspective industry prospects over the phone to add into Marketplaces/ Promoter client base
  • Convert sales from leads that have been warmed up from our in house marketing team
  • Consultative sales skills – we have a range of products for all dealer needs so we need to ensure we are offering the right solution for customer success as well as ours
  • Conduct Product Demos
  • Achieve the revenue targets set on a monthly basis
  • Manage a portfolio of clients that you have acquired over your time with the business looking to increase AOV and retain when needed.
  • Attend industry shows where applicable to add into your sales funnel, observe new angles into the market and take the opportunity to solidify existing relationships

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a passionate character who strives for success
  • Is money hungry and target driven
  • Has the skills to be able to acquire new business as well as manage existing relationships effectively to retain business
  • Experienced in digital marketing sales
  • Experience in SAAS sales (preferred but not essential)
  • Has an eye to spot ‘out of the box opportunities’ to drive revenue/ add value to existing clients
  • Organised to ensure opportunities are not missed/ customers are happy
  • Willing to take feedback on how to develop your skills further
  • Wants to be part of a supportive and energetic team
