This role will be based out of our newly renovated office on Brighton seafront.

We follow a hybrid working policy with a mixture of working from home and in office.

Summary of Role

As a Web and Digital analyst, you will use your skills and experience to deliver actionable insights on data collated from our marketplace websites. You will monitor performance trends and KPIs and work closely with key stakeholders to define the business problems that they are trying to solve. You will present your findings clearly and based on your own interpretation/evaluation. You will report to the Lead Data Scientist.

The successful candidate will:

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to identify, collect, and transform website and application data for analysis and report generation
  • Acquaint yourself with the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with analytics and monitoring
  • Develop clear visualisation techniques to convey complex data in a straightforward fashion
  • Analyse user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and any multi-channel attribution
  • Use available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot any issues/problems, as well as propose optimisation through automation of processes currently in place.
  • Analyse, validate and translate results into insights that influence and improve our business decisions and operational efficiency
  • Benchmark key metrics across the entire portfolio of our brands and customers

Skills we would like you to possess:

  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience working with Firebase
  • Working knowledge of Data Visualisation Tools like Chartio or equivalent BI Solution
  • Fully proficient with the use of real-time dashboards for monitoring data
  • Sound experience with Excel or equivalent spreadsheet management system
  • Use of website content auditing and tagging tools like WASP
  • Understanding of databases and database management
  • Understanding of lead generation and acquisition/ web traffic
  • Working knowledge of SEO and PPC would be great
  • Working knowledge of JSON would be great
  • Experience of writing scripts in Python would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
  • Confidence to express opinions and challenge assumptions
