Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Executive. This role is pivotal to the success of the wider group by taking one of our core brands and driving sales of its online advertising solutions. The successful candidate would take responsibility for sourcing, identifying and converting potential clients, building strong relationships and growing their brands’ advertising revenue streams. This role offers an opportunity to shape the growth of a core brand within our Marketplaces division.

Skills

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, preferably in online advertising, digital media, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising platforms, ad formats, and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets and achieve results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Highly organised with exceptional time management skills.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilites

  • Prospect and identify potential clients within target industries
  • Approach new clients with a consultative sales style to grow your brands customer volume and build strong relationships allowing account revenue growth
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both parties.
  • Execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Collaborate with the B2B marketing team to assist in success where necessary.
  • Present and demonstrate our advertising solutions to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in CRM software.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company's reach when necessary
  • Provide feedback and insights from clients to your line manager to pass on continuous improvement of our products and services.
