We are unique in that we are probably one of the most diverse companies around. We own over 50 different brands across different fields, which makes us experts in various industries. Our primary purpose remains the same across all, we bring people and businesses together through transactions in niche industries across the globe. We do this in 4 key areas: We have our Marketplace Websites, our Job Boards, E-Commerce brands and, most recently, Web Services.

We are constantly improving our services and expanding our offerings. We innovate because we are passionate, but also because we have to. The nature of our industries means that we often have to produce highly personalised solutions for our customers.

Our marketplaces division began with our flagship brand Friday Ad.co.uk, a platform for local advertisers to sell. But we have since acquired 11 more brands across the UK, USA and Europe all serving the same purpose within their industries.

Recruitment

Connecting employers with jobseekers

Entirely run from our Preston office. Our recruitment division consists of over 16 different niche online job boards. Whether that be aviation jobs, sales, or automotive, each platform provides a place that brings job seekers and employers together online.

Helping businesses build online presence

40 years of expertise in connecting buyers and sellers means we have a deep understanding when it comes to the online requirements needed for businesses. We have several website service brands, where we specialise in digital marketing along with building high performing websites and dealer management systems for businesses and dealers within niche industries.

Retail

Helping people carry out their hobbies

Within our habitual industries, we also have 2 online e-commerce brands which sell clothing and accessories to the equine and marine world. More recently we have established UpCountry, our first horticultural brand and garden centre based in West Sussex.

Publications

The heart of FMG

This is where it began for FMG. With our first ever brand and advertisement paper, Friday-Ad being printed in 1975, Uckfield, Sussex. We now print over 300,000 copies of the paper every week. Along with this, our print division has evolved with our brands, and we also produce monthly magazines; Boat Trader and Horsemart. The offer horse and marine enthusiasts a vast array of products and advertisements, along with industry news and advice.
