Job Description

We're in search of a skilled SEO Manager to join our forward-thinking team. As an SEO Manager, you'll take charge of the technical SEO aspects for our multiple marketplace websites. What sets us apart? You won't be working in isolation; you'll be collaborating closely with the entire team to create and execute innovative content strategies that elevate our website's visibility and organic search rankings.

But there's a twist – we're also looking for someone with PPC experience to add an extra layer of expertise to our digital marketing efforts.

Here's a breakdown of what you'll be diving into:

Skills

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or in a similar role, with a preference for experience with marketplace websites.
  • A solid grasp of PPC to complement your skill set.
  • Deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, technical SEO best practices, and current trends.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Strong analytical skills to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and nurture the marketing team.

Responsibilites

  • Technical SEO Excellence: Develop and execute comprehensive technical SEO strategies to enhance website performance, crawlability, and indexability. Regular website audits, optimising website structure, and staying updated with industry trends are part of the deal.
  • On-Page Strategy: Champion our on-page strategy by ensuring that our website's content, structure, and optimization are top-notch. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure on-page content aligns with SEO goals.

  • PPC Knowledge: Having some PPC experience is a plus and will make you a standout candidate in our eyes.

  • Keyword Mastery: Conduct deep-dive keyword research to discover opportunities for organic growth. Optimise website content, including landing pages and blog posts, to align with relevant keywords and user intent.

  • Content Innovation: Collaborate with our Marketing Communications Manager to devise content strategies that sync seamlessly with our SEO objectives. You'll also analyse competitors to identify content gaps and areas for differentiation.

  • Product Team Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to ensure that merchandising of the site and on-page optimization are finely tuned for performance.

  • Team Building Skills: Over time, you'll have the chance to assemble your own SEO team. You'll recruit, train, and mentor SEO specialists to make our team a powerhouse.

  • Performance Analysis: Keep a close watch on SEO performance metrics. Generate regular reports that provide insights into our SEO journey and share them with key stakeholders.
